A journey of healing, remembrance, and the birth of a Sacred House of Alchemy

Natural Philosopher’s Sacred House of Alchemy was not born from commerce, but from a deeply personal search for healing and understanding.

What began as a moment of crisis would ultimately become a path of discovery—one that revealed the quiet intelligence of nature and the extraordinary power held within the botanical world.

and the Birth of the Sacred House of Alchemy

A Night That Changed Everything

There are moments in life that divide time into before and after.

For Alexandra Chartier, that moment came in the summer of 2016.

What began as an ordinary evening at home soon became a life-altering event. While pregnant and alone with her young daughter, Alexandra began to experience sudden dizziness, numbness, and loss of balance. Within moments, it became clear that something was terribly wrong.

She was suffering a stroke.

Despite the overwhelming disorientation and fear, her instinct was not for herself—but for her child. Summoning the strength she had left, she managed to call for help before collapsing on the kitchen floor.

That night marked the beginning of a journey that would forever reshape her life.

Title

The Long Road Back

Recovery was neither simple nor immediate.

In the months that followed, Alexandra faced persistent dizziness, exhaustion, migraines, and cognitive fog. Simple tasks became difficult. Thoughts that once flowed easily now felt distant and fragmented.

Doctors eventually discovered the underlying cause: a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO), a small congenital opening in the heart that had allowed a blood clot to travel to the brain.

Doctors explained that the clot had lodged behind the head in a place that often results in severe neurological damage. In many cases, the entire right side of the body becomes permanently paralyzed.

Remarkably, that was not the outcome. Instead, the aftermath manifested differently—memory loss, disorientation, and an eye that temporarily looked in a different direction as the brain struggled to recover.

Yet over time, as the clot dissipated, the body began to restore itself. The eye gradually returned to its natural alignment, and cognitive clarity slowly began to re-emerge.

The experience became a profound reminder that the body carries an extraordinary capacity for repair when given time, care, and support.

Within two years, she would experience a second stroke.

For many, such events would mark the end of a chapter. For Alexandra, they became the beginning of a search.

A Return to Ancient Wisdom

Driven by the desire to reclaim her health and understand the body’s capacity to heal, Alexandra began studying traditional systems of medicine.

Her journey led her into the world of herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the ancient practices of natural healing.

During this time she discovered Lion’s Mane mushroom, a botanical long revered for its relationship to the nervous system and cognitive vitality.

Through consistent use of botanical tinctures and holistic therapies, Alexandra began to experience a gradual return of clarity and strength.

What began as personal recovery soon grew into a deeper realization:

Modern society had largely forgotten the profound intelligence of nature.

The Birth of the House

From the lessons of illness and recovery emerged a deeper vision.

What began as a search for personal healing gradually revealed a much broader calling: to restore a forgotten relationship between human beings, nature, and the spirit.

The Sacred House of Alchemy was not created merely to offer remedies.
It was created as a complete philosophy of restoration.

Within the House, healing is approached as a living system — one that nourishes the body, steadies the mind, and restores the soul.

Through Lux Botanica, the House offers botanical tinctures crafted to support the body’s natural intelligence and restore balance from within.

Through Lux Seraphina, the body itself is honored as a sacred vessel through oils, balms, and preparations designed to nourish and protect the skin.

Through Lux Anima, the House preserves the contemplative dimension of healing — scrolls, reflections, and rituals that invite stillness, prayer, and spiritual alignment.

Together these pillars form a return to something ancient:
a life lived in thoughtful relationship with nature.

The purpose of the House is not simply to relieve symptoms, but to guide individuals back toward the harmony for which the human body was originally designed.

A Living Philosophy

Modern society has achieved extraordinary scientific progress, yet many people remain deeply unwell.

Pharmaceutical medicine often focuses on suppressing symptoms rather than restoring the deeper balance of the body. As a result, many live surrounded by medications while still searching for true healing.

The philosophy of the Sacred House of Alchemy is different.

True healing cannot be confined to the physical body alone.
It must also reach the mind, the spirit, and the rhythms of daily life.

The House invites a return to a slower and more intentional way of living — one in which individuals once again learn to listen to their bodies, observe the wisdom of nature, and cultivate rituals of care.

Within ancient traditions of natural philosophy, health was never considered purely physical. It was understood as harmony between the body, the soul, and the natural world.

Scripture reminds us that the body is a temple — a sacred vessel entrusted to our care. When we neglect that temple through imbalance, stress, and disconnection from nature, illness often follows.

The Sacred House of Alchemy exists to help restore that sacred stewardship.

Through botanical remedies, daily rituals of care, and moments of quiet reflection, the House seeks to guide people back toward the life that Adonai intended — one rooted in reverence, balance, gratitude, and alignment with creation.

Healing, in its truest form, is not merely the removal of disease.

It is the restoration of harmony between body, spirit, and the living world.

The Meaning of Luxury

Within the Sacred House of Alchemy, the presence of luxury is intentional.

In modern culture, luxury is often associated with excess or status. Yet the House understands luxury differently.

True luxury is health.

When we are young and strong, we often take the body for granted. We assume that tomorrow will arrive exactly as today has. We move quickly through life without recognizing the extraordinary privilege of waking each morning with strength, breath, and clarity.

Yet life reminds us—sometimes suddenly—that tomorrow is never guaranteed.

An illness, an accident, or a moment beyond our control can change everything in an instant.

When the body falters, we begin to understand something that was always true: health itself is one of life’s greatest luxuries.

For those who have walked through illness or recovery, the ability to think clearly, to breathe deeply, to move freely, and simply to live without pain becomes profoundly precious.

The Sacred House of Alchemy honors that truth.

Healing should not feel clinical, rushed, or mechanical.
It should feel thoughtful, restorative, and worthy of care.

The House therefore brings an element of refinement and beauty to the act of healing—not to create extravagance, but to reflect the sacred value of the body itself.

When we treat our bodies with reverence, we acknowledge that life is a gift.

In that understanding, we begin to see that many people search for wealth in the wrong places.

For when the body is healthy and time is still before us, we are already wealthy beyond measure.

Health is luxury.
And healing should feel worthy of it.

 A Letter from the Founder

To those who arrive here with curiosity, hope, or perhaps even quiet exhaustion,

Welcome.

The Sacred House of Alchemy was born not from ambition, but from a deeply personal search for healing. After experiencing two strokes and navigating a long and uncertain recovery, I began to question many of the assumptions we hold about health and medicine.

What I discovered along that journey was something both ancient and profoundly simple: the body carries an extraordinary intelligence, and nature provides the tools that help restore it.

Plants, fungi, and the rhythms of the natural world have supported human life for thousands of years. Yet in our modern world, we often move so quickly that we forget how to listen—to our bodies, to the earth, and to the quiet wisdom that surrounds us.

The Sacred House of Alchemy exists as a reminder of that wisdom.

Within this House, every tincture, scroll, and ritual object is created with care and intention. My hope is that these offerings do more than simply support physical wellness. I hope they help restore a deeper connection—to nature, to stillness, and to the sacred responsibility we hold toward our own bodies.

Scripture teaches that the body is a temple, entrusted to us by the Creator. Caring for that temple requires more than quick remedies. It requires thoughtfulness, patience, prayer, and reverence for the life that has been given to us.

Through botanical medicine, daily rituals of care, and moments of quiet reflection, my intention is to help guide others back toward the harmony that Adonai intended for humanity—a life lived closer to nature, with gratitude and balance.

What I offer through this House is what I use for myself and my own family: remedies crafted with discipline, knowledge, and respect for the traditions that came before us.

If you have found your way here, I hope these offerings serve you well.

And I hope they remind you that healing is not something we must invent.

Often, it is something we simply remember.

With gratitude,
